Ham Radio Operator AF3I using the Big Shot sling-shot device to place antenna support ropes into the tree canopy at a Field Day site.

Does anyone else still call them photographs?

Cumberland Amateur Radio Club K3IEC Field Day provides many photo-opportunities.

Andy Forsyth AF3I is shown using the Sherrill Tree Big Shot arborist tool to place our antenna ropes high into the tree canopy.

Ed LeTersky, KB3RKM and Jim Binkley, K3GPS look on in amazement.

This tool can easily fire a weighed pull-string 100 feet in height enabling the Antenna Installation Team to pull up a more substantial rope, followed by the dipole antenna.
